Kai Restaurant was established in 2007 from the dream of Chef Hideto Yanase who wanted to bring an authentic Japanese izakaya experience to Guam. With over forty years of culinary experience including two decades honing his craft in the hotel industry, his commitment to quality is the heart of everything we serve.

Having been part of Guam's community for nearly two decades, what started as a dream has grown into something we're deeply proud of – a place where people come together over food they can trust.

Our restaurant has always been a family operation and everything we do is with the future in mind – the quality of the food, the warmth of the welcome, the relationships we build with our guests. Guam is our home and we're grateful for every guest who has made Kai part of their story.
